Upgrading the framework module seems to have resolved the issue. Creating your account only takes a few minutes. If there is a problem with the manager.conf that is generated, please look at my previous suggestion and fix it and file a bug about the installer. From what I can tell all of my administrator usernames and passwords match up in the configuration files that I could find/etc/asterisk/manager.conf/etc/asterisk/manager_custom.conf/etc/amportal.conf As per the recommended fix that other people have I did not change any of the freepbx.conf, amportel.conf, or manager.conf files, just made sure they match, and they do, but I still get the same error: Reload failed because retrieve_conf As always, if just the two of us are seeing this, it's probably something we did, but I thought you'd like to know that you aren't alone here. FreePBX 13 and Asterisk 1.8 doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Ran "Module Admin" Monday night.
