hmmm.. Shocking, because my blog was crashing in Internet Explorer [around 35-45% of my visitors use IE, mind it]. I dont know how to read code!!! Then I upgraded to IE 7 and the problem persisted.I think you are right.
No mouseovers should occur untill the page is entirely loaded.
