Internet Explorer Cannot Open The Internet Site Operation Aborted

Had to "UNinstall" the software that scanned my computer to get the app window to go away. Then this solved the IE changes, and now my google calender gadget works again. Anyways, it Fixes my Google Chrome SSL Untrusted Connection problem somehow. Crappy stuff.

I tried everything and I believe my issue was because I have a sata drive and another drive separating ie and the OS.

I found an Add-on named "research" with a file type of "browser extension" that when disabled fixes my problem.
