I really don't know why the HTTPS URL isn't loading. Instructions for removing a PowerShell listener can be found at:http://powershell.com/cs/media/p/7257.aspx Search for,Removing the Listener. The certificate is stored on the local computer under Personal > Certificates. I still don't have it working, but telnet does work from the IIS.
However we have a different site that is runing on ssl with no problem but that was setup two years ago. Under General tab make sure “Enable all purposes for this certificate” is selected and most importantly “Server Authentication” should be present in the list. This is your most likely cause.
