make sure there are'nt any discs inserted into your disc drive. if possible - check all connections to make sure the hdd is plugged in and getting power can you boot into the bios & make sure youre set to boot from Notebook Model - HP Pavillion dv7 Notebook PC Processor Type - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40GHz Processor Speed - 2400 MHz Total Memory - 6144 MB BIOS Version - I have also made a Windows Vista x64 Recovery disk and have been using that to attempt to fix these issues.
