jkemp Has anyone had an issue where after installing this...and configuring a policy that the policy doesn't actually seem to be applied? But what do I do with it? Why did they leave gpedit.msc and secpol.msc unavailable for HP??There is no group policy editor in Home Premium.

Lee Alderman I was able to do this and get gpedit.msc to work, but group policy object editor still doesn't populate in my list when I go to mmc.exe. Thanks. I need to run secpol.msc in order to changed LAN authentication levels so that I can access password protected files on an older wireless external harddrive. I than select Disallowed for Security Level. The firmware-based Linux and Samba Network Attached Storage device doesnt have a current Firmware that supports Samba 3.0.22 so it cant handle NTLMv2.Therefore, I need to make these changes via Secpol.ms
