Thank you. I've tried VistaBootPRO and EasyBCD but I saw nothing about disabling SATA. I have also a T61 and I solved the problem with Solution 1! Anyway, assuming that your BIOS is crippled (as mine was), and you still have Vista installed, then ensure you have looked in Device Manager (right-click ‘My Computer' > Properties > Hardware)
